About Course
Skyslate’s unique "Essay Writing+" Program is created as a year long course that would respond to the growing demand for essential skills such as academic essay writing, public speaking, SAT/ACT essay writing, Scholarship essay writing and College application essay writing to be taught at age appropriate levels. We designed this course to provide multiple skills for price of one course.
The Course Covers 5 Key Concepts:
Grammar/spelling (all levels), Public speaking (all levels), Research skills (intermediate and advanced), ACT/SAT Essay prompts (Advanced) and College application essays (Advanced).
Learn How to Effectively Give a Class Presentation:
Effective presentations usually revolve around strong public speaking skills and engaging conversations with your audience. Practice with other students across the nation to present your ideas and engage a wide audience!
Nourish Emergent Essay Writing Skills:
Many students wish they had learned how to write quality academic essays earlier in their school years. If you believe that your child may be lacking in writing ability, or you simply wish to enhance the skills they are demonstrating, then join with other students in writing, editing and presenting original essays!
Homework to Practice Grammar and Punctuation:
Do you feel that your child is constantly making the same errors over and over when they write? Our program is designed to build a foundation of essay writing that leaves little room for errors that re-appear when a child is in need of guidance in essay writing. The practice of quality essay writing at a pace comfortable for parents and children will prove essential in developing writing skills that will last for the child’s entire lifetime.
Students will be directed in how to prepare scholarship essays, and will be informed regarding what scholarship essay readers are looking for. Many parents are not aware of the fact that millions of dollars are available in merit scholarships for middle and high school students, irrespective of parents income status. Most of these scholarships require exceptional essay writing skills. Introducing your child at a younger age to the art of scholarship writing and actually winning scholarships will prepare them tremendously for their senior year.

About the Teacher

Our instructor is TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified and has over 15 years of experience in teaching students of middle, high and college students. Our instructor focuses on depth of insight and proper grammatical form necessary for academic writing, and has also taught several composition classes.
