If you son or daughter is struggling with writing, or simply wants to improve the skills that they already have, this course is designed right for you.

Students will be directed in how to prepare scholarship essays, and will be informed regarding what scholarship essay readers are looking for. Many parents are not aware of the fact that scholarships are available for middle and high school students.

Introducing your child at a younger age to the art of scholarship writing and actually winning scholarships will prepare them tremendously for their senior year.

In this course you will learn how to:

  • Identify and avoid common grammatical/ mechanical/ structural errors in writing.

  • Build the art of writing to effectively defend an argument using the classical methods of ethos, pathos and logos.

  • Develop an effective thesis

  • Build support for a main argument

  • Write effective introductions and conclusions

  • Develop MLA and APA Style

  • Improve Grammar and Mechanics

  • Put yourself ahead of the competition by knowing how to do an essay with a power point.

  • Build confidence in writing

  • Effectively communicate thoughts and ideas through writing

  • Compose, review and receive feedback individually on your essays

About Teacher

  • Our instructor is TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified and has over 15 years of experience in teaching students of middle, high and college students. Our instructor focuses on depth on insight and proper grammatical form necessary for academic writing and has also taught several composition classes.

  • We have an extensive curriculum of essay writing skill and provides plenty of homework to keep fresh with any academic essay writing.
