Our Critical Thinking course is a research-based instructional program that teaches well beyond school standards. Worksheets used in SkySlate's Critical Thinking course received over 150 national awards. This course enriches students' minds by developing advanced problem-solving skills. This course is designed to engage students in systemic thinking for a more comprehensive understanding of any subject or field. Lessons provide training in the areas of analysis, observation, comprehension, visual perception, vocabulary expansion, deductive reasoning, logic, visual and auditory processing. This exceptional series provides a solid foundation for academic excellence and success in any assessment, as well as in life.

Currently, we are offering this course to students in grades 1–7. Participants can expect to:
Improve observation and description skills
Improve sequencing and visual memory skills
Develop an extensive academic vocabulary
Develop thinking skills that underlie content learning (denotation, description, identifying similarities and differences, sequencing, and classifying)
Improve understanding of fundamental concepts in Mathematics, Social Studies, and the Sciences
Complete structured exercises to write well-developed, concise sentences and paragraphs
Employ language integration techniques to teach thinking skills and key concepts
Explore mental models and topics essential to the application of these new cognitive skills
Achieve the abilities through fun and concrete activities including Thought Experiments, Student Polls, Practice Sessions, Games and Puzzles, Predictions, Important Takeaways, and highly unique Mind Benders® challenges
